Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey is an African American author. She is best known for her ex-wife of the comedian Steve Harvey. Marcia Harvey is a private life, avoiding the spotlight of the media. Steve could not get the success he's now enjoying, but they had been married for 14 years. It's unclear what led to the split, although Hollywood has heard of rumors about it. Some accuse Steve Harvey of cheating, and others blame him for deciding to pursue comedy as his career. Steve Harvey left her with his two daughters when she was expecting their third child, which caused her to feel devastated. Despite the difficulties she managed to make a successful career in writer and fashion designer. It isn't much known about Marcia Harvey's childhood, aside from the fact that she came from an African-American family , and they were not wealthy. Her first job was working at Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store. Steve was introduced to her at a party for a mutual friend a few years later. They became lovers and were married in 1980. Steve was employed as an insurance salesman at the time and the couple were blessed with twin girls in 1982. Steve was disillusioned with his work and decided to make a go of it as an entertainer, particularly stand-up comedy. Steve and Marcia did not get with each other and it was later reported that they had been living in a relationship since 1990. Marcia Harvey's fame came primarily from her marriage to Steve Harvey, and their divorce. Although the facts leading to their divorce in 1994 were largely kept a secret but there is no doubt that Marcia was expecting their third child. This was the point at which everything went downhill. Marcia was divorced in 1993. Marcia was forced by Steve Harvey's refusal pay any alimony or child support following her divorce.
