Big Time Rush is an American pop-rock boy band formed in the year 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They first signed with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television series, Big Time Rush. The series aired from November 28, 2009 to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's first single for promotion, "Big Time Rush".
